On Tuesday evening President Barack Obama says US is turning the page. In an address from Oval Office the President says “It’s time to turn the page.” Nation’s focus will turn to stagnant economy.
President Obama in second Oval Office address the president thanks to troops without calling a victory. He says it time to move on.
“We have met our responsibility,” Obama said. “Now it is time to turn the page.”
The President called Former Bush and said thank him.
“It’s well known that he and I disagreed about the war from its outset,” Obama said. “Yet no one could doubt President Bush’s support for our troops, or his love of country and commitment to our security.”
(The president did not acknowledge that he and Democrats support the war. But he took the credit anyway.)
