Typical Black Politician Remarks. In a speech to supporters in Quincy,IL . President Barack Obama said about wealth at Quincy Community Center on Wednesday.
The president took a victory lap on congresses Financial industry reform regulation after the GOP agree to a cloture vote in the senate. The Republican had blocked the vote three times to make changes in the proposed law.
Obama was critical of the wealthy including Wall Street which helped collapsed the economy along the Sub-Prime Loans which the Democrats in Congress created in the 1990’s by Clinton Administration.
After saying that Democrats don’t begrudge success that’s “fairly earned,” Obama then ad-libs — and reveals more about himself than he probably wanted:
We’re not, we’re not trying to push financial reform because we begrudge success that’s fairly earned. I mean, I do think at a certain point you’ve made enough money. But, you know, part of the American way is, you know, you can just keep on making it if you’re providing a good product or providing good service. We don’t want people to stop, ah, fulfilling the core responsibilities of the financial system to help grow our economy.
Compare that to his remarks as prepared for delivery:
Now, we’re not doing this to punish these firms or begrudge success that’s fairly earned. We don’t want to stop them from fulfilling their responsibility to help grow our economy.
Typical pol I seen it too many times. Do enough to keep their constituents voting for you time and time again and your life and your community rarely improves. Whether South LA, East LA or East San Fernando Valley; South Side or West Side of Chicago. The West Side and South East Side Dallas the same thing over and over poverty and crime abounds the politicians are making a killing.
Whats Ironic is President Obama is one of the Wealthiest men to occupy the White House. In 2009 Obama earned(based on his tax record earned $5.5 million.) Maybe we should limit all politicians to the congressional salary and no benefits huh?
Well congress is made up millionaires. Talk about a disconnect with the American People. No wonder some see the president as a socialist.
