A new CNN Poll has found that more American disagree with the President than agree with him on important issues. CNN Opinion Research Corporation also a slim majority has approve the job of what he is doing.
the Poll found 48% of the people surveyed say they agree with the president on important issues while 51% disagreed. That’s a change from 57% in April agreed and 41% has disagreed.
“Obama is facing crunch time on a number of controversial issues, from health care to financial regulation to cap and trade to Afghanistan,” says CNN Polling Director Keating Holland. “The fact that most Americans no longer agree with him on important issues makes his task harder.”
There is good news that Obama enjoys a job approval of 55% vs 43% disapproves. That’s down 3 percentage points from September.
The poll has found two-thirds say Obama has qualities that a president should that’s down from 12 percent from April.
The Poll found most 56% Americans disagree with Norwegian Nobel Prize Committee awarding the President with the peace price. Only a third believed that the president did enough to receive the award. But the respondents said 70% was proud in the President winning the Peace Prize.
