Former Arkansas Governor, Republican Presidential Candidate and Fox News Talk Show Host and political  commentator Mike Huckabee had granted clemency to Maurice Clemmons the alleged gunman who may have killed 4 Lakewood,WA Police Officers on  Sunday.

The Seattle Times has learned as Governor  Huckabee gave clemency to Clemmons which led to his very early release. The move by then Arkansas Governor in 2000 despite five felonious charges in Arkansas. Clemmons also has a lengthy record in Washington State where he had eight felonious charges including rape of a child.

The criminal history report shows how the criminal justice system has made it easy for Clemmons to be released.

For his part Huckabee has regretted the shooting of the four police officers and issued a statement called the crime “a horrible and tragic event.”

If Clemmons found guilty “it will be the result of a series of failures in the criminal justice system in both Arkansas and Washington State,” Huckabee said.

Huckabee points out that the Arkansas judicial system approved Clemmons clemency  and commutation.

Clemmons  released from the Pierce County Jail eight days ago despite a pending  charged  rape of a minor and seven additional felony charges. Clemmons a $15,000 bond.

Just days before the President Obama leaves for the Copenhagen  meeting on  climate change; White  Press Secretary Robert Gibbs says the Obama Administration standby global warming.

Despite the uproar involving the release of the hacked e-mails that show that the scientists have been  manipulating the data supporting their theories.

The   Climate Research Unit at University of East Anglia in Norwich,England has caused firestorm of controversy when a blogger hacked into the CRU computer system and placed the e-mails and other documents on a blog   based in Russia, has  appeared to contradict  the theories by  supporters of Climate  Change.

Press Secretary Gibbs says that the White House believes “climate change is happening.”

“I don’t think that’s anything that is, quite frankly, among most people, in dispute anymore,” he said during Monday’s press briefing.

“I think there’s no real scientific basis for the dispute of this,” responded Gibbs to questions about those scientists’ credibility.

Climate Change critic Senator James Inhofe,(R-OK) the ranking member of the Environment and Public Works Committee;wonders about the decision to standby Global Warming Theories and has called for investigation into the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change to find out if it “cooked the science to make this thing look as if the science was settled, when all the time of course we knew it was not.”

“[T]his thing is serious, you think about the literally millions of dollars that have been thrown away on some of this stuff that they came out with,” he told reporters, noting it was “interesting” the e-mails surfaced before the Copenhagen summit.

Four Lakewood Police officers were killed in an ambush shooting at a coffee-house in the town of Parkland,WA. The suspect is hold up in home in Seattle’s Leschi neighborhood police say.

Seattle Police have corded off  the area around from 32nd ave and Yesler Way. The are searching for Maurice Clemmons a person of interest.

The shooting took place at the Forza Coffee in Parkland which is just east of Lakewood about 8:30 A.M. Police say the for officers three men and women was set to start their shift with the Lakewood Police Department about 9A.M.

Several  law enforcement sources told KING 5 News that Clemons has been held there.

Police  has detoured traffic in the area.

The four officers have  identified Sgt. Mark Renninger, 39; Ronald Owens, 37; Tina Griswold, 40; and Greg Richards 42. They were members of the Lakewood,WA Police Department a 100 unit force.

Police say Clemmons has an extensive criminal record in both Washington state and Arkansas; including aggravated robbery and assault. In Pierce County Clemmons charged with aggravated assault on a peace officer and rape of a child.

Pierce County Sheriff Detective Ed Troyer says Clemmons  is one of several   persons who police want to talk to.

Police also say the gunman who killed the police officer may have injured the gunman. It is believed that one officer went to the door of the coffee-house and managed to  fire at the gunman.

“There is evidence that a Lakewood Police officer fired off some shots, and we hope that he hit him,” said Troyer. “If he’s hit, that means that he’s injured somewhere with a gunshot wound.”

Last week and a half ago leaked e-mails from the University of East Anglia in Norwich,England Climate Research Unit was found on a Russian website which began a chain reaction and calls that Global Warming are fraud and hoax. Now another bombshell has exploded.

Several ask via the United Kingdom’s Freedom of Information laws(Similar to  the Freedom of Information Act in the United States.) has revealed that much to information based on 150 years trashed. The Climate Research Unit admitted that they trashed the information when the Climate Research Unit moved to a new facility.

That means other research scientist will not able to able to check calculations that would show long-term  global temperature rising over the last 150 years.

The information gather from weather station from an around the world;  then adjusted for variations in the way they were collected. The originals were handwritten and on magnetic tape both thrown away to save space when the CRU moved into a larger facility.

In a statement on its website, the CRU said: “We do not hold the original raw data but only the value-added (quality controlled and homogenized) data.”

Climate Change critics   needed to see  the documents   to find how the data complied. Now that lost  forever.

One scientist Roger Peilke professor of Environmental Studies at Colorado University discovered  the data missing when he request the records.

“The CRU is basically saying, ‘Trust us’. So much for settling questions and resolving debates with science,” he said.

Prof. Phil Jones,was not at the CRU  in the 1980s when the docs was discarded.  The Lost data was used to create a database that has Jones’ data base showing the world temperatures rising by 0.8 Celsius .

Jones and his  colleagues  the temperature  increase                      “unequivocally” and  is due to greenhouse gases. The finding used by Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change says global warming is a detriment to society and planet.

Copenhagen  Must postponed no treaties, no agreements, no one red cent until the truth comes out.

Newspaper online advertising is down 5.4 percent in the third quarter, compared to the same time last year; A report released Wednesday said.

There is a bright spot  ad revenue was up 1.7%  versus the second quarter 2009. The first back to back increase in ad revenue since final quarter of 2008; according to PriceWaterHouseCoopers LLP report for Interactive Advertising Bureau, a trade industry group.

The revenue for the third quarter is $5.5 billion down from $5.84 billion this time last year.  The number is down compared to the peak of $6.1 billion.

“The advertising sector overall has been hard hit by the economy, but digital media has been a bright spot within the larger economic downturn,” Randall Rothenberg, chief executive of the advertising trade group, said in a statement.

Woods  was treated at Health Central Hospital treading cuts on his face;  “He was admitted, treated and released in good condition,” said Susan Jackson, of Health Central.

On Tiger Woods web site the posted the message called car crash a minor accident.

Winderere ,FLA Police Chief Daniel Saylor told the AP that Nordegren, Woods wife told officers that she was in the house when she heard the crash and we out to see what had happened.

Emergency  people saw that Wood was in and out consciousness when officers arrived:

“He had lacerations to his upper and lower lip, and blood in his mouth,” said Saylor. “My officer asked her how she got him out of the vehicle and she said she had to break one of the windows out with a golf club.”

Woods was behind the wheel of his 2009 Cadillac Escalade and hit a fire hydrant in front of his home. Woods then proceed to hit a tree in his neighbors yard, Florida Highway Patrol said.  The highway patrol said the vehicle’s air bags did not deploy indicating the car was below 30 mph.

Law enforcement officials say the investigation is ongoing. Although alcohol is not involved charges are pending.

Ten students from North Naples Middle School suspended last  week after the kids participate in “kick-a-Jew”Day.

Collier County Public Schools spokesman Joe Landon said student a dean of  students that she was kicked because it was “kick-a-Jew-day” Last Thursday.

The following day Principal Margret Jackson, address the student body of North Naples Middle on the incident, review school rules and policy. The need to respect  each other.  Jackson  asked student if they know what happened go the office to speak the principal or assistant principal.

The students suspended for one day which was last Friday, they return on Monday.

World Markets jolted on Thursday and again on Friday as state controlled real  estate firm  Dubai World announced that it will miss a key interest payment.

Stocks lost value,  weak currencies such as  our US Dollar slammed, and British banks lost £14 billion in value fearing they face  exposure to Dubai World.

Dubai World debt is at  $80 billion. Mild compared to events in United States and United Kingdom. There was uncertainty who are Dubai World creditors. Several banks attempted  reassure investors that their risk  is minimal.

News of the announcement sent the FTSE 100 in London 171 points 5,194 the largest one  day  drop  in eight months. The British Treasury, Bank of England,and Britain’s Financial Service Authority are demanding UK banks to provide a list  stating their  exposure to Dubai World.

Dubai World has demanded creditors to “standstill” on interest payment. A scheduled teleconference with bondholders postponed due to jammed phone lines added to the anxiety.

The Director of  Climate Research Unit at University of East Anglia was asked to  resign after the scandal of hacked e-mails from CRU placed on mirror websites and leak to the media including The Drudge Report. Professor Phil Jones who ran the unit was asked leave by George Monbiot a leading environmentalist. Jones allegedly in these e-mails said to suppress scientific data supporting their theory of  Global  Warming.

More e-mail released today, in one e-mail in particular an American Climatologist  lamented that science  could explain away the recent temperature declines.
