The “American Economy,” is no longer small individual enterprises of rugged individualists competing to become bigger than they were!
To survive and compete in todays global market, you have to lose your individualist identity, and become a part of a large conglomerate, a Global Multi National Corpotation. You have to become a part of a global enterprise that is larger and more powerful than most governments, in order to be a player in the world of “Free Enterprise!”
You can believe that you are a small businessman opperating a small business and that you and your kind are the foundation that makes America great. You can believe that, and the world will continue to laugh at you. You Libertarians are lost inside the no longer existing past! Wake up and face our present day global reality.
Every educated person knows, or should know, that everything on the planet is structured to evolve so as to survive inside a changing environment. If anything or anyone does not or cannot make a necessary adjustment to a changing environment, that what exists will no longer be able to exist into the future!
Capitalism has grown into the stage of “Globalism,” because it is the only way that capitalism can evolve and grow, and not die and not realize it’s full potential.
Capitalisim cannot move back into the way it was during the early history of America, just like a old man cannot recapture his youth.
If you allow yourself to view the world scientificaly, you cannot help but come to the conclusion that the only possible alternative to a Free Market Economy is a Controled Market Economy, and the only possible alternative to a “World Controled Market Economy is a “World Planned Market Economy” that is designed to profit the entire planet without discrimination!

As a note to my previous posts: I was responding from my dashboard to selected comments from others, so I apologize for my topic being “off-subject” I didn’t actually realize this until just now.

Her name is actually Janeane Garofalo. Not Jeanne. If any of you have ever taken an English Comp class you would’ve learned something as simple as spelling correctly the name of a person, place, or thing that you are arguing for or against. When you misspell the person’s name you detract from the legitimacy of your argument.

Janeane Garofalo has a Bachelors Degree in History and American Studies. She is a very witty and intelligent person despite her seemingly dark personality. She is at times a bit fanatical but she believes in the things she says and she is the type of person that “says it like it is.” This type of behavior often detracts from her overall message but the message is still the same regardless of how she explicates it.

All of you who seem to detest her because of her brutally honest behavior should take a look at your own talk show hosts such as Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, just to name a few. These are the most fear-mongering hateful people that are on T.V. today. Their job is to put fear in to your heads and it is working brilliantly.

Take a step back and actually listen to some of the things that those men say when they are giving their “opinions” on certain matters. Take your own opinions out of the picture when you listen to them and perhaps your judgment as to what they are actually saying will not be so clouded. They are propagandists and always have been. They are paid for by big corporations and they are in the pockets of the right-wingers. This isn’t such a surprise given that we have a “party system,” but the level of hate that comes out of them is absolutely absurd and fairly harmful to society.

I will not go in to completely bashing the righties, although there is much to be bashed, but I will say that Janeane is nothing like the bobble-heads we see on the screen today. She is simply an honest, down-to-earth person that has a platform to speak on and she does so with passion and enthusiasm.

You don’t have to agree with her but you should be thankful that both sides are able to speak freely about the current state-of-affairs. You have your people and they have theirs.

It was a hoax, a fraud perpetrated to get media attention. Fits the profile of the parents, who appeared on “Wife Swap”. Read the article: “But in a later interview with CNN’s “Larry King Live,” Falcon said he heard his parents call for him from the garage. When asked by his father on-air why he didn’t respond, the boy replied, “You guys said we did this for the show.”" Then the father gets defensive when Wolf Blitzer asks about it. Typical response when one is GUILTY. They should be prosecuted and reimburse the authorities for all the resources they used to track the balloon.

Putin’s bluffing, re Iranian nukes- he doesn’t want a nuclear ME any more than we do.

But, Vlad the Invader’s wisely working the Boy Wonder like a poker player. He knows the Israelis will bomb Iran back to the Stone Age… so the Kremilin is just milking all sides for all they can get before he leaves Tehran to fend for themselves-

And he’ll be wringing Obama for plenty more concessions along the way… these KGB guys know a mark when they see one.
