Today, the FCC began make the new rules of “Net Neutrality”. Net Neutrality is the governmental rules that opens the internet to all groups with the same access as major providers instead of prohibiting or favoring certain kinds of internet traffic.  These rules will keep phone and broadband firms from abusing their power  against small and medium players.

Republican commissioner Robert McDowell doesn’t believed that the broadband company have been engaging in anti-competitive behavior .

White House Declares War on Fox News

October 13, 2009 · 1 Comment

Well the truth has come out: The Obama Administration has decide to go public on it’s war on FOX News. Over a month ago the White House gives  an interview to five broadcast networks except Fox News on Health Care. Then about a week ago White House Advisor Dave Axelrod read the riot act over dinner with Fox News Chairman Roger Ailes. It didn’t faze Ailes nor did it change Fox News reportage.

On Sunday, White House Communication Director Anita Dunn whined to CNN’s Howard Kurtz on his program “Reliable Sources” for nearly 10 minutes on Sunday. Dunn accuses the Media company as an arm of the Republican Party.

Dunn says the President may go on Fox News later this year. She lied. A representative of her office say the president won’t be on Fox News for the rest of the year.

Fox News has fired back across its various programs including the Glenn Beck Show, Special Report with Bret Baer,  The Fox Report with Shepard Smith, The O’Reilly Factor, etc.

Apparently a thin skinned Obama Administration has decided to pick a fight with Fox News because it wound bend over for the administration. What’s worse Fox News Channel has the largest audience in cable television. You Obama makes Richard Nixon’s white house seem like a Sunday School class.

Very petty, immature, what a disgrace. George Bush , nor his father or Ronald Reagan would treat the New York Times, Washington Post, ABC, NBC,CBS  and CNN this disgracefully. Pathetic.

Legendary humorist, author and playright Mark Twain once said Never pick a fight with a people who buys ink by the barrel. Apparently Anita Dunn never learned that in school.

October 12, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Senator Diane Feinstein (D-Ca) Chair of the Senate Armed Services Committee  smashed President Obama on moving General Stanley McChrystal request of 40,000 troop member increase in Afghanistan. This during an interview on ABC News “This Week ” host my George  Stephanopoulos on Sunday.

“I don’t know how you put somebody in, who is as ‘cracker jack’ as General McChrystal who gives the president very solid recommendations and not take those recommendations if you are not going to pull out,” Feinstein told me on ’This Week.’ “If you do not want to take the recommendations then you put your people in such  jeopardy.”

Senator Saxby Chambliss(R-Ga)  who is Republican minority leader on the Committee said, “I don’t think there’s any question on whether he’s going to have to. I think it’s the right thing to do.”

It’s a very fractious government over there…and not much stability,” Chambliss said. “To slow down the Taliban, that means to prevailing militarily and obviously that’s where the additional resources in the form of troops comes in. That’s where McChrystal has recommended and I think the President has got to follow his commanders on the ground.”

President Obama Health Care Numbers Continue to Fall

September 29, 2009 · Leave a Comment

A new Rasmussen Report finds that support of the program is still falling. 41 percent support versus 56% against the proposed health care reform legislation. This is down two percentage points from a week a go.

Senior Citizens give it he lowest approval numbers: just 33% of seniors approve of the reform, while 59% are opposed. It gets worse for those over 65 and older 16% strongly approve of the program while 46% were strongly opposed.

There strong doubts that health care reform legislation will pass. 46% said the bill will pass while47 % did not.

IS the White House Reading the polls??? Somehow I doubt it.

Good Time Charlie Rangel Cries Racism, It’s Time to Say Goodbye,Charlie

September 4, 2009 · Leave a Comment

This is a broken record. For the third week in the row an African-American Pol has cried racism to their peril. Charlie Rangel, The Chairman of the House Ways and Means committee has used the race card at a health care in his district in New York.  Rangel says it race that’s behind the opposition to President Obama health care program.

“Some Americans have not gotten over the fact that Obama is President of the United States. They go to sleep wondering, ‘how did this happen?’” said Rangel.

Rangel see the fight over health care similar to the civil rights movement.

“Why do black people have to bargain for what is theirs? Why do we have to wait for the right to vote? Why can’t we get what God has given us? And that is the right to live as human beings and not negotiate with white southerners and not court the votes. Just do the right thing,” Rangel said.

This comes on the heels of the revelations   the Congressman misreported his income  via  amended tax  forms. This has lead to the Washington Post  calling for his resignation. The Washington Post says: “Much is expected of elected officials. Much more is expected and demanded of those entrusted with chairmanships and the power that comes with them, especially when it involves the nation’s purse strings. From all that we’ve seen thus far, Mr. Rangel has violated that trust continually and seemingly without care.”

Some of his constituents thinks its time for Rangel to go.  Jacob Israel of Harlem  agrees,  “He’s not the only one. They’re all stealing. It’s just that they want to get him out because he has too much influence. He’s been there too long. Every last one of them is stealing.”

Another resident, Jerry Watson  adds, “He should step aside because who knows what else he’s doing that we don’t know about.

Meanwhile , local politicians are speaking out. New York  City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is waiting for the facts to come out. “Charlie has been very helpful to this city in terms of doing things that we’ve asked him to do, bringing home the bacon if you will and I hope that he’s done nothing wrong,” Bloomberg said.

Mayorial candidate and City Councilman Tony Avella said in a statement.”It was also mar his effectiveness in representing Harlem in Congress. He should not stand for re-election.”

Is this what we got look forward for next three years essentially “White folks are out to get us ” instead of say our opponents are wrong. Or in Charlie instances because  failing to report income to the IRS .  I mean he writes tax policies and he does not follow the rules. Basically, do as  I say  not as I do . Charlie  take  your self down to the Dominican Republic and don’t come back Or look forward to a different home in Sing Sing Prison in Upstate New York.
