For Years, Democrat pols always say the for the little people, But you gotta wonder of people Like US Representative Majority Whip Steny Hoyer(D-Maryland) when make a joke on a pledge not to vote in Health Care Reform without reading the bill in it’s entirety.
Hoyer joked, “I’m laughing because a) I don’t know how long this bill is going to be, but it’s going to be a very long bill,” he said.
“Members clearly–and staff and review boards, they read them in their entirety. They go over it with members, and members read substantial portions of the bill themselves, but the issue is–I don’t know who signed this (pledge), but frankly the opposition has been very vociferous, not of the verbiage and bill, but on the concept that it incorporates,” Hoyer said.
The pledge from the conservative group, Let Freedom Ring based in Delaware. The group wants politicians to vow to not vote on the health care bill without reading it its entirety in it’s final form. Let Freedom Ring also wants the the law online to the public 72 hours before the vote.
Gee I politicians not caring about the public what a shock. I have news for Congressman Hoyer We the People are watching. If you don’t be care you could be out work on November 2010 , when we the people vote.
