Wednesday night Obama’s daylong  infomercial came a went. With only 5 million viewers=1.1 rating. It was a bust.  Those who watched were not impressed and The president refused to answer key questions both from Doctors:  Orin Devinsky, a neurologist asked Ask the president to vow: Would you be willing to not seek extraordinary treatment for his wife or daughters if they are sick and the public option plan restricts they type of exams and or medical care. President Obama said that he would want the very best of care and didn’t make that vow.   (meaning the pols will keep health care and we lose ours.)

Iran gets Vicious aginst the protesters

June 25, 2009 · Leave a Comment

The Iranian Extremists unleashed a barrage of attacks against the protesters today in Tehran.  The Revolutionary Guard used clubs and tear gas to quell a small group of protesters who used rocks on Wednesday. The small group of protesters were out manned and out maneuvered by the secret police.

This was the strongest show of force yet by the  government. Meanwhile, The Times of London reports the Iranian government is use the nations  most powerful prosecutor as chief interrogator to go after reformers which protesting the  election results, creating fear of a vicious crackdown on Civil Rights and Liberties.

Saeed Mortazavi,   while a judge he  ordered the the shutdown of over a 100 newspapers, websites and  journals perceived anti Iranian government.  Mortazavi known as the butcher of the press oversaw the torture, rape and death of a Canadian Iranian photojournalist Zahara Kazemi in Tehran in2003.

He oversaw the criminal prosecution of women who dress inappropriately. Mortazavi was the one over the prosecution of Iranian-American journalist Roxana Saberi, was charged with spying for the US and sentence in 2008.

Breitbart,  tell the tale of women  getting involved in these protests by dressing modern clothing styles of the west under their hajaib or burkas.  They would wear nail polish on their fingernails. Showing shocks of hair out their scarves.

The women join their husbands and fathers and fiance on the streets risking their lives to seek freedom.  That display was seen last week in the shooting death of Neda a young Iranian woman who making her voice known. Neda has become martyrdom symbol of this crisis.

“Iranian women are very powerful and they want their freedom,”,said an Iranian woman would only speak in anonymously for fear of her safety. They’re really, really repressed, and they need to talk about it.” The anger in Iranian woman palpable, the fear of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad repressive government goons trying return Iran to Islamic values.

The CIA, Brittan and Israel have been accused by Iran’s Interior Minister of fostering the protests.

“Britain, America and the Zionist regime (Israel) were behind the recent unrest in Tehran,” Interior Minister Sadeq Mahsouli, told the Fars News Agency on Wednesday,”Many of the rioters were in contact with America, CIA and the MKO and are being fed by their financial resources,” he said. We guys think with the wrong head again: Gov. Mark Sanford falls

June 25, 2009 · Leave a Comment

We men have a problem: We like thinking with the wrong head. Case in point Governor  Mark Sanford (R) of  South Carolina admitted today of have affair with Argentinian woman.  Sanford announced today after spending several days with his mistress. She has not been Identified.

The governor had just returned  from Bueno Aries when a reporter from The State newspaper confronted Sanford at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta. The governor fled to  his plane to fly back to Columbia.

Sanford’s wife initially said she didn’t know where went on Father’s Day. The governor’s staff said he went hiking along the Appalachian Trail to clear his head. That turn out not be true.

Sanford had apologized to the People of South Carolina, his wife and kids, his staff and his mistress.

Sanford was touted as potential  candidate to run for President in 2012. The announcement come  behind fellow Republican Senator John Ensign who himself admitted to have an affair with campaign staffer which is alleged to extort thousand of dollars from Ensign, to keep the affair hush.

Sadly another family in ruins. A wife won’t able to trust a man again. Kids don’t have a role model to look up to.

Ladies, some day a female politician may slip and fall, guys don’t gloat when it happens. We still lead them a million to one.

Because we still think with the wrong head.

You can’t Kumbya with everyone, Mr. President

June 24, 2009 · 1 Comment

This administration willingness to talk to our enemies while sounds  and looks  noble. It isn’t.  Earlier Mr. Obama offered to invite Iran to  any US embassy for a Independence Day Barbecue in hopes to “engage in a dialogue” to restore ties between the two nations. There’s a problem that many conservatives notice the attacks against the protesters who challenged the fraudulent election results in Tehran a  week and a half ago.

“There’s no thought to rescinding the invitations to Iranian diplomats,” State Department spokesman Ian Kelly told reporters.

“We have made a strategic decision to engage on a number of fronts with Iran,” Kelly said. “We tried many years of isolation, and we’re pursuing a different path now.”

There is no word from the Iranian government if the have accepted the Invitation.

Mr. President being from Chicago , You know that crime has ravaged the city.  If you can’t get the gangs from the Roseland neighborhood on the far south side and the gangs from the Austin section to stop fighting or the Gangs from Uptown Chicago stop attacking the gangs from Humboldt Park.

How do you get The Iranians to meet with US if they are not interested.  The same applies to Hugh Chavez of Venezuela and North Korea threatening the US to lob missiles  at Hawaii on Independence Day if we stop any North Korean vessel, after they tested a nuclear weapons and launched 3 or 4 missiles nearly 2 months ago.

President Obama hear me You can’ t kumbya  with everyone; not everyone will like you. Jesus couldn’t bring all people together. The Pharisee and Sadducee approached  the Sanhedrin to stop Jesus. Eventually the Romans  through Pontus Pilate the Governor of Judea order the arrest of Jesus which let to the  convection and death of Jesus.

Kumbya is  beautiful song taught in Sunday school and Summer Camp but the reality is you can’t kumbya with everyone.

The world was fortunate with Egypt and Israel in 1978.  Ping Pong Diplomacy in the early1970’s  set in motion  relations between the US and Chinese government. It took a firm hand by Ronald Reagan that led to the fall USSR and Soviet Block in the late 80’s  and early 90’s.

You need willing participants not just the United States and our proxies Japan, South Korea, Brazil, France, Germany and others to be discussions, otherwise your just talking to yourself.

You can’t kumbya with everyone. It just doesn’t work.

UPDATE:

The Obama Administration have rescinded the invitation of meeting with Iranian officials on Independence Day barbecue. The reason is  due to the actions by the Iranian government against the  election protesters Tehran. Finally.  Thanks Mr. President.

Mousavi has not called for an protest march on Saturday. But some supporters may come out today to protest.  A supporter of Mousavi said,”Mousavi has no plans to hold a rally tomorrow or the day after tomorrow,” he told Reuters.

Khamenei said,”If there is any bloodshed, leaders of the protests will be held directly responsible,” the white-bearded cleric told huge crowds thronging Tehran University for Friday prayers.

Khamenei blamed the United States, United Kingdom for fomenting the unrest.

“After street protests, some foreign powers … started to interfere in Iran’s state matters by questioning the result of the vote. They do not know the Iranian nation. I strongly condemn such interference,” Khamenei said.

“American officials’ remarks about human rights and limitations on people are not acceptable because they have no idea about human rights after what they have done in Afghanistan and Iraq and other parts of the world. We do not need advice over human rights from them,” he added.
